Events

I organize events to promote cultural diversity when I am free and when I come out interesting ideas.

Lamma Island Hiking – Dec. 2019
– a weekend getaway from concrete jungles

Exotic Cultural Tour & Cuisine – Sep. 2019
– We visited Kowloon Mosque and Jamia Mosque, tasted Persian food in the only Iranian restaurant in HK.
HK is a multi-cultural city with people from other areas bring their different religions, languages and cultures. Unlike Singapore, local culture still dominates the HK society, which causes segregation in certain levels. This time we dipped a bit of Muslim/Middle eastern culture in HK. It was not possible to provide a full picture with a short tour like this but I hoped by doing this, it would help both locals and nonlocals to get more perspectives and increase understanding of each other.

Camping In Grass Island (Tap Mun) – Nov. 2018
– The weather was turning cool. The last camping before 2019! We have joiners from the US, the Netherlands, and HK.
As the name, this site is a grass site with quiet environment, surrounded by sea but no beach, which is cleaner. We hiked a little bit and saw sunrise in the morning. This was to have a relaxing break from buzzing city, take time slow, and let our minds be cleaned.

Tai O Fishing Village and Man Cheung Po Infinity Pool – Jul. 2017
– a must-go spot if you are interested in HK traditional fishing lifestyle
Highlight:
Tai O fishing town: a community of fisher folk who’ve built their houses on stilts above the tidal flats of Lantau Island for generations. These unusual structures are interconnected, forming a tightly knit community that literally lives on the water.
